Welcome to Amazing Mama Birth Services!
My name is Oesa Hauch and I am the owner of Amazing Mama Birth Services, which offers childbirth preparation classes and birth and postpartum doula services for the eastside and north end of the greater Seattle area. My services are appropriate for individuals or couples planning to birth in a hospital, birth center or home, and for first-time parents or those who have already been through the birth experience.
The foundations of Amazing Mama Birth Services are rooted in the Birthing From Within® approach to childbirth. I am a certified Birthing From Within mentor and doula. I am also certified through DONA International and PALS Doulas as a birth doula, with training received from The Simkin Center for Allied Birth Vocations (part of the Seattle Midwifery School). Additionally, I have a certificate in lactation education from Evergreen Perinatal Education.
My philosophy is that every expectant parent or couple should have personal support and access to information that is relevant to their own unique interests, experiences and needs. This is what I strive to provide to the parents I work with: a customized approach that is as unique and individual as they are. I absolutely love working with people at this very exciting time in their lives!
